Highland Cows

We have a mother and son Highland Cow duo who help keep the grasses and bushes at bay.

Malarky, the mother cow, was born on Neffendorf Farms on April Fools Day. When her baby boy, Thumper, was born, he immediately stood up, and ran into a tree… promptly knocking himself out and earning his name.

They love meeting new people and getting pats and treats from farm visitors. Their sweet dispositions and mellow moods make them wonderful farm ambassadors to those escaping the city.
